Friday Evening: Settle In & Step Back in Time

• Arrive & Unwind: Check in to Trails End, your adventure hub!
• Cycle Through History (Quick Start): Even if it’s just for a brief introduction, take a peek into Africa’s FIRST Bicycle Museum, right here at Trails End! Get a taste of the stories waiting to be discovered.
• Fuel Up: Enjoy a delicious dinner at our in-house restaurant and prepare for the adventures ahead.

Saturday: Choose Your Thrill (or Chill!)

Option 1: Adrenaline Junkie Saturday!

• (Morning – Half Day) Zip, Zoom, Conquer! Kick off your day with an INSANE zip-lining adventure at Cape Canopy Tours. Allow ample time for travel to and from the location.
• (Afternoon) Shred the Trails! Conquer the legendary Elgin Valley mountain bike trails and FEEL. THE. RUSH.
• (Evening) Enjoy a relaxed dinner back at Trail’s End recounting your exploits of the day with a glass of local wine in front of the fire. If you’d like some variety there’s always the nearby Elgin Grabouw Country Club (booking essential).

Option 2: Scenic Seeker Saturday!

• (Morning) Hike the Highliands! Immerse yourself in the jaw-dropping beauty of the Elgin Valley mountains with a breathtaking hike. Choose a trail that suits your fitness level.
• (Lunch) Indulge in farm-to-table delights with incredible orchard views at Cheverells Country Café (perfect for a scenic midday break!).
• (Afternoon) Wine & Wander! Discover the picturesque Almenkerk Wine Farm 7km trail and soak in vineyard views.
• (Evening) Enjoy a relaxed dinner back home at Trail’s End or one of our recommended neighbours.

Option 3: Totally Chilled Saturday!

• (Morning/Afternoon) Poolside Paradise! Unwind and recharge by our sparkling pool with a captivating read. Or treat yourself to a Blissful Bodywork session with our in-house therapist.

Enjoy a leisurely visit to the buzzing Elgin Railway Market for last-minute finds and atmosphere. Cycle Through History! (If you haven’t already!) Spend some quality time exploring Africa’s FIRST Bicycle Museum at Trails End.
• (Late Morning – Before Departure) Peregrine Pitstop! Fuel up for your journey home with the legendary treats at the iconic Peregrine Farmstall.
